hiya, you can call me mika... this is my personal site! the old version of this place was very cringe and very unfinished so i've revamped it all. what's this actually for?
it's mainly just a passion project, as i think owning a personal site is cool as shit and seeing it all come to life is very fun. there probably won't be anything all too interesting to find here for the average person, but it's mostly just for me, so who cares? i'll probably do a big overhaul of this site sometime, as i have some big ideas i'm not skilled enough to implement yet.
i'm from england and have been living here all my life.
how should i refer to you/what's your gender/what's your orientation?
i just feel like i feel and am what i am, that's that. using labels to box in my identity feels like i'm restricting myself to one way of being forever, not allowing myself to shift and grow or be anything else, and thus i would define myself as vaguely queer and genderless/agender rather than trying to pin anything down. i prefer to remove myself from the concept of gender as much as possible; i go by any pronouns, but have a preference for culturally non-gendered ones (ex: they, it). i am myself before any socially constructed idea.
i've spent way too much time on the internet ever since i was a child, but recently the greater net has been feeling increasingly hostile, which is partly why i made this site. i've always been super into customisation and modding - game modding, jailbreaking, homebrewing, you name it - so the concept of neocities is one that greatly intrigues me!
i have a terrible addiction to making dumb and unfunny jokes and take great pride in being an iconoclast. i'm neurodivergent and mentally ill, so apologies if i sometimes act oddly.
